Ellen has 20 years’ experience in the professional services industry, serving in business development, sales, coaching, marketing, and PR roles for both Boston-based and international firms and companies.

Ellen has written for Global Business Hub, BetaBoston, Lawyers Weekly, The Women’s Book, and other publications and appeared weekly on RadioBDC’s Global Business Hub segment.  She is known as an authority on networking, personal brand building, PR/Media Placement, marketing, and business development, has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and other media, speaks at National Conferences and events, and has appeared on television and radio.  Additionally, Ellen has a column in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly entitled, “Legal Tender.”

Ellen is active in the community and is Immediate Past President of the National Association of Women MBAs Boston Professional Chapter Board of Directors, serves on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Network Advisory Board, serves on the United Way Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) Executive Committee and is a Vice Chair of Marketing & Outreach for the United Way WLC, serves as a Vice Chair for City Year’s Legal and Women’s Leadership Initiatives, serves on the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Executive Committee, the Co-chair of the 2016 2020 Women on Boards National Conversation on Board Diversity Host Committee, is a Boston World Partnership Connector, and is a member of USA 500 Clubs, Open Hub, Boston Facilitator’s Roundtable, and The Boston Club, serving on the Membership Committee and Member Engagement Subcommittee.

Ellen is a graduate of Northeastern University summa cum laude and is a Certified Professional Coach, trained by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).  She is also a Certified Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP).

Ellen is a 2016 Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Excellence in Marketing Award recipient.  She also received an Idealism in Action Award from City Year Boston.
